THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY

I did finally get to watch this. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012; PG-13) is a story about Bilbo Baggins, Frodo’s uncle, and the beginning of his adventures. It includes Gandalf and numerous dwarves who are trying to reclaim their kingdom. Bilbo is enlisted, or rather, drafted into their service. At first, he really isn’t feeling very adventurous. But then he decides he needs to go on the trek with the dwarves and take some chances.

Like The Lord of the Rings, this is part of a trilogy so I’ll have to wait to view the others, but I’m really looking forward to them.
