RETURN TO THE LOST WORLD
Return to the Lost World (1992) probably isn't as good as the original movie, The Lost World, but it's an ok flick to watch anyway. You will find the same 6 actors playing the same 6 characters, which is nice. I hate it when a sequel is filmed and you have to re-learn who's who. Seeing familiar faces, such as John Rhys-Davies, playing their roles helps you to slip straight into the movie.
The villain in this movie is a man who tries to take the lost world land from the natives, while endangering the lives of the dinosaurs. He claims to have scientific goals, but in truth is he has a document from the Dutch government, complete with print letterhead containing the crown and signature of the Dutch rulers, giving him permission to begin drilling operations for petroleum.
The villain part is really terribly overplayed, but I actually do suggest you follow up the original movie with this one.
