Intermission - Video game mess

So, Son had little get-together a few nights ago. I was at work, but he's 22 and pays half the rent here, so it's all OK. However, his buddies wound up leaving his room and all his games in a mess, scattered all over the floor.

I told him he should have told them to put it away since they got it out. I would have been mighty irritated if my stuff got strewn all over like that. I realize some of these guys still need natural acne treatment, but they are old enough to drive and hold a job, so they are also old enough to know better and not act like 12 year olds.

Ah, well. It's not my room and it's not my video games, is it? It's Son's and it's up to him to take control of such things. Now, I know all these guys and they're really not bad guys. They're friendly and respectful. They also don't come over all that often, so it's not a huge problem really. At least they didn't mess up the kitchen and living room, so I guess I should really be thankful!
