MEET JOE BLACK

If you're a Brad Pitt or Anthony Hopkins fan, then you'll really enjoy Meet Joe Black. This movie stars both of them in an interesting fantasy about a wealthy, retirement aged man who is meeting Death.

It's close to Bill's time to pass away, and Death comes to visit and decides to stick around awhile, enjoying life in human form. The human form is that of a young man who is killed while crossing the street, an event that Death arranged so he could "borrow" the body for awhile. Bill has to introduce Death as Joe Black to friends, family, and co-workers while trying to explain who he is and not reveal the true identity.

Bill's daughter soon falls in love with Joe. Bill, in the meantime, is trying to save his company from those who would sell it to a larger corporation where it would be absorbed and dismembered. Joe winds up living with Bill for a time in a house that's as opulently decorated as a Hilton Head rental, revealing the wealth that Bill has accumulated over the years.

This 1998 movie is rated PG-13 for some sensuality, a surprising accident scene, and some mild language.
