Movie insurance?

I always wonder who pays when movies like Johnny Mnemonic or Gone in 60 Seconds wreck great cars? Is that all part of the movie budget or do the movie makers have to compare auto insurance rates like the rest of us?

I suppose it's all part of their multi-million dollar budget, along with payrolls, set designers, props, CGI, and all the other things that go into making a movie. Just once, though, I'd like to know what kind of insurance rates these guys must have if the equipment really is insured.
