Welcome back to me!

It has been forever since I posted to this blog. Well, since October '08 anyway. And that is forever in blog years, don't you think?

I've been heavily sidetracked by my IRL job, but all that is changing now. I've stepped back a bit from the grueling schedule I had so that I can enjoy a life outside of work. It means a pay cut, but it's really worth it to not be so entrenched in work that I have no time to be just me.

The fact is, there were times that I actually slept in my truck overnight because my schedule was too tight to allow me to come home! No, no hotel room for me then. Just a pillow, a blanket, and my trusty truck. Of course, I really didn't rest very well and wound up looking like I'd been on a three day drunk, but at least I was there, working.

Maybe now I can get my personal schedule where it needs to be.
