HEROES

My son actually talked me into watching this series. I just started the second disk of the Season 1 set of Heroes, and I am completely addicted already. It's great sci-fi storytelling with characters I can really get into. Not always handsome or beautiful, but characters that have something really going for them.

From the acne crowd, teens in high school, to the political candidate, each hero has discovered in himself or herself a special gift that goes beyond what most "mere mortals" have. And each has his or her own life story to tell. No cookie cutter caped crusaders here.
