DAY WATCH

This is a Russian movie with subtitles. It's a strange and eerie story of the relationship between the Dark Side people and the Light Side people, a situation in which a truce had to be formed so they wouldn't kill each other. Day Watch is a sort of police force, using handhelds and PDAs to keep track of the evil Dark Side group. Sometimes, they wind up crossing over and becoming "Others" who can travel between both worlds.

The film was difficult for me to keep up with, to be honest. Some really like it, but I found it too convoluted in plot to maintain my interest for the entire 3 hour film. It was confusing and nightmarish as the story went along, and I didn't find it to my taste at all.

This 2006 movie is rated R, for a lot of reasons. It's the follow-up film for Night Watch.
