Intermission - Rich and Famous?

Since I'm now a full manager of the restaurant I work at, I'll be getting a raise and some other benefits. The raise will probably go more to gas in my car than to luxury watches, but that's ok. I need the extra money not only for gas but to set up a signal booster in my house so I can send and receive cell phone calls.

My car will be paid off with the next payment, so that puts more money back in my pocket for doing some things for myself that I've been wanting to do for a few months now, including the aforementioned signal booster. One month's car payment will actually buy that. I'm also planning to do more to the house - just temporary stuff since it's a rental.

But, my really big purchase will be a big screen TV so I can watch all my movies with a larger view. The small HDTV I've got is ok to use in a bedroom, but the size is just not right for real movie watching.
