Intermission - Samsonite luggage

Both of the Vacation movies I reviewed had their fair share of luggage issues. I literally laughed out loud at the beginning of the first one when they backed the loaded station wagon out of the garage and the top of the garage entrance scraped all their luggage right off the roof of the car. I hope it was Samsonite luggage so it wasn't damaged too much by the drop.

This all leads me to think that perhaps I should be shopping around for better luggage than I use right now. After all, a 55 year old woman ought to be packing her clothes in something besides a tote bag and duffel bag when she travels!
