SHOOTER

Mark Wahlberg stars in this movie about homeland security and international intrigue. Shooter is a movie about a former military sharpshooter and sniper who is enlisted by the US government to work as an operative in determining how a suspected sniper would operate and what equipment he might use. The story goes much further than that, of course.

After at first declining the "invitation" to become involved, he finally agrees to help after experimenting and learning what a dangerous person he's up against. He winds up being accused of being the shooter and begins a hunt for who set him up.

Yes, yes, I know. It's a tale you've seen before. Still, I do like this kind of movie because there's lots of action and it's fun to watch.

It's rated R for all the violence and language, so send the kiddos out of the room before viewing it.
