THE ITALIAN JOB

Some of my favorite movies are about big heists. Like the various Ocean's movies, The Italian Job is full of clever but unlikely stunts performed by thieves, who make off with millions of dollars worth of gold bars.

Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Edward Norton, and Mos Def (with a short appearance by Donald Sutherland), along with others, play high-end criminals who pull off this gold heist, only to be betrayed by one of their own who steals the gold from the rest and kills Donald Sutherland's character in the process. This sets the scene for the story, where the rest are trying to not only steal the gold back, but avenge the death of their friend.

It's rated PG-13 for violence and some language. In all, it's an exciting movie full of daredevil stunts and lots of action.
