ALIENS
Are you ready for more? The second in the Alien series, Aliens, shows us Sigourney Weaver after she's been rescued from her space shuttle. It's the one she escaped her first ship in.
Apparently, she's been in hyper-sleep for 57 years and now the powers-that-be are seriously doubting her story of an alien and the reasons why she did what she did to begin with. Now there's a colony of families on the very planet she claimed the alien came from, and they're in trouble. Communications from there has stopped. Ripley (Weaver) is called on after being punished (sent to get psychiatric help and space pilot's license revoked) to help find out what the problem is on the planet.
Paul Riser (to me an unlikely star of a movie like this) plays her attorney, who tries to talk her in to going to help the colonists in this episode of the frightful sci-fi film.
Released in 1992, it's rated R for alien violence and language. Still, it's scary as all get-out!
