THE VILLAGE
The Village is another story written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. This film is set in a old village of people who are afraid of the monsters that lurk in the woods surrounding the village. Therefore, no one ever ventures beyond a set boundary as they have a sort of intense but peaceful coexistence that way. The monsters don't cross the boundary to enter the village, either.
We are taken through the frightful thrills of what happens when someone does cross the boundary. Did I say "jump factor" yet? This movie has it.
The 180 degree twist at the end will definitely take you by surprise!
Rated PG-13, this 2004 film is definitely worth renting if you like to be frightened by something other than chainsaw slashers.
