DIGGING FOR THE TRUTH
This History Channel offering, Digging for the Truth (2005 - one season), is hosted by Josh Bernstein. It follows him as he travels around the world in search of the mysteries connected with lost civilizations. You follow him as he talks to historians, anthropologists, and others, and even tries to recreate some of the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of mass numbers of people when they passed into history.
You join him as he swims the ocean, climbs up mountains and into deep caverns, plays some instruments that look like cool relic guitars at Musicians friend, learns to play primitive flutes, and even learns how to carve statues, such as those on Easter Island. I watched and found myself wishing I could travel the world as he does and have the experiences he has in different ancient settings.
Learn with him what the theories are concerning the disappearance of these once great cities and civilizations, and what his conclusions are.
