CELEBRITY LOSSES

The celebrity world lost three big names - Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Ed McMahon.

Ms. Fawcett (Charlie's Angels TV series and movies) was only 62 when she succumbed to cancer. That's young when you consider she has children that still need her and that she was recently married to Ryan O'Neal, her longtime friend and lover. What a bittersweet event that must have been, knowing that Ms. Fawcett did not have long to live.

Michael Jackson died of an apparent heart attack, though the test results aren't yet in from the investigation into his passing. I feel badly for his young children. What a sad loss for them.

Ed McMahon passed away at age 86 a few days ago, with loved ones around him. A loss, to be sure, in the entertainment industry, at least he had a chance to live a long and full life.
