DHARMA & GREG

Ok, maybe I'm just an old hippie at heart but I find myself watching my DVDs of Dharma & Greg over and over again. I can't seem to get enough of this romance between the straight-laced husband and the hippie-raised wife.

I was watching some of the Special Features and really learned a lot about the making of the show. For instance, Alan Rachins (Dharma's father Larry) actually shopped for thrift shop and wholesale clothes for his wardrobe on the show. He even got some of the other cast members hooked on this for their personal apparel!

I love the free-spirited way Dharma (Jenna Elfman), her mother Abby (Mimi Kennedy), and her father Larry decorate, dress, and live. They maintain their independence in a world where most people are marching to the beat of the drum of consensus and complacency.
