QUENTIN TARANTINO

Quentin Tarantino was born in 1963 in Knoxville, Tennessee. After his mother married, shortly after he was born, she and her family moved to California. He dropped out of high school and enrolled in the James Best Theatre Company. He had written plays before this, so the theater company proved to be a springboard for him to further delve into screenwriting and films.

Anyone who has seen his movies notices the graphic violence but also the amazing story telling and cinemagraphics involved. He has borrowed ideas from a wide variety of sources, but each film is still truly original and unique.

Tarantino has also been involved in some television shows, such as the final episode of CSI: Las Vegas and ER. His unique slant on story lines and filming gave these shows' episodes their gritty edge.
