BE COOL

Released in 2005, Be Cool is the sequel to Get Shorty. It stars John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Cedric the Entertainer, and several other famous actors.

The film is the story of Chili Palmer, who has left the movie industry to make his way in the music industry. While battling the Russian Mafia and other bad guys, he seeks to produce a new, young female vocalist who is extremely talented, but currently under contract to another agent.

Lots of violence, bad language, and sensuality make this a rated R movie. I liked it, and the humorous episodes defused the more serious parts. Not everyone agrees, though this was an award winning and nominated movie.
