KILL BILL

This film, Kill Bill (2003), is one of the most bloody and violent films I've seen in quite awhile. Quentin Tarantino directed this film after having stepped back from film for 6 years. Uma Thurman plays the lead role as a highly skilled martial arts expert whom Bill attempted to kill at her wedding rehearsal. The entire wedding party was slaughtered and Thurman's character was left for dead.

As it turned out, she was in a coma that lasted for four years, and when she awoke from it found that her unborn baby was gone. This set her on a trek to exact revenge on Bill and all his cohorts.

The action is mesmerizing at times, albeit very violent and bloody, as Black Mamba literally slices her way through numerous enemies who were once part of the same gang she was in.

It's rated R for the extreme violence, foul language, and sexual content.
