THE ABYSS DVD

I've had The Abyss on VHS for a long time, and I've enjoyed the movie immensely. Recently, though, I bought it on DVD and I have to say it's a lot better in that format. You can view the theatrical version, which is what I have on VHS, or you can view the extended, uncut version. All I can say is Wow! What a difference. The basic story is the same, but there are a lot of details that are left out of the theatrical version that add interest to the movie and also give you a different view of all the characters, including the aliens that are under the ocean's surface.

I highly recommend that you rent or buy the DVD and see for yourself!
