LEGENDS OF THE FALL

I saw this movie a few years ago, and I viewed it again just the other day. Legends of the Fall is a saga set in the early 1900s. It's the story of a father and his three sons, the woman all the sons loved, and the convoluted ways in which families sometimes operate.

The background is historical fact, although the saga itself is entirely fictional. Film greats such as Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, and Aiden Quinn star in this very emotional 1994 release. It's rated R for violence, language, and some sexual content.

Still, in all, it's a worthwhile film to view or view again to understand the nuances of emotions and the competitive nature of the three sons involved, even though they really did love each other.
