Intermission - Mailboxes
Around here, I've seen all kinds of mailboxes. Some even look like bass fishing lures. I think the mailboxes in any given area reflect the spirit of the people who live there to some extent. Mailboxes can be as plain or as fancy as you like, but they say something about the residents who receive mail in them, in my opinion.
Just up the road from me, there is a mailbox that looks like a red barn, and in fact, the people do have horses and cattle. A little further away is one that looks like an old John Deere tractor. They grow hay and soybeans. See what I mean?
A mailbox doesn't have to be a plain, run-of-the-mill item. It can say something about you.
