OCEAN'S ELEVEN

Ocean's Eleven (2001), starring George Clooney, Bernie Mac, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, and other greats, is a remake of a 1960s film which starred the original "Rat Pack". In this updated version, Daniel Ocean (Clooney) enlists a number of villains to help him rob a Las Vegas casino's vault. This movie takes you through all the planning and the execution of this "perfect crime".

I found it to be entertaining and easy-going throughout since the criminals involved weren't out to draw blood - only withdraw money. There's a bit of humor that threads through the film as none of the characters seem to take the heist seriously enough, even though they all agree to perform their parts.

It's rated PG-13 and isn't really a family movie, but I'd think that older teens could find the humor without trying to imitate the villainy.
