ICE AGE

One of the funniest animated features released in the past few years, Ice Age is great family viewing. It's the story of some prehistoric animals who happen upon a human baby. Their quest is to return the baby to its "herd" while keeping him safe from the pack of saber toothed tigers. The tigers' focus is on getting the baby because his family uses tiger hides for clothing and hut coverings.

The adventure takes place while the animals are migrating to get away from the coming ice age. Diego, one of the tigers, is sent to infiltrate and acquire the baby for the pack and to set the group up for an ambush. Along the way, he befriends them all and has a change of heart that is almost his downfall.

Ray Romano plays the voice of Manfred (Manny) the woolly mammoth, John Leguizamo is the voice of the sloth, and Denis Leary is the vice of the sole saber tooth tiger traveling with them.

This movie has earned a PG rating.
