16 BLOCKS

16 Blocks is great. I loved it enough that we bought it and watch it over and over. Why? Because it just never stops moving. It's continuous action and police drama continue moment by moment. The timeline of the film is equal to the timeline it would have taken to actually execute this mission of moving a prisoner from the jail to the courthouse to testify before a Grand Jury.

Bruce Willis, starring as an again and not-so-upright detective, is moving the prisoner and in the process, comes under attack by the corrupt portion of the police department. They don't want this man to testify and are relentless in their efforts to stop both him and Willis from achieving the goal.

This 2006 film has some rough language and quite a bit of violence, but if you like police dramas, this is THE movie to watch.
