LORD OF THE RINGS - TRILOGY

Much has been said about these movies and what I'll say here may not be much different.

For one thing, many Christians have stated they are an allegory. I don't really see that in them considering all the wee folk and magic that surrounds the ring and its bearer, Froto Baggins. However, I do like the general concept of the story - an unlikely hero saves the world, yet in the end loses his own life.

Through much drama and pathos, the little hobbit Froto bears the ring in a quest to destroy it since it is evil and has powers over those who wear it. His friend Sam is by his side throughout, aiding and even carrying him part of the way.

You really need to view all three movies to get the whole story. None of them stands alone as a tale, but only a part of a tale.

This could be very scary for children so be watchful about that.
