Talkie Zoo: Introducing

Since I had the money, I went ahead and took the big plunge for a larger HDTV. I got a good deal on it and my son added some money to mine (his Christmas gift to me) to help me make the purchase price.

I tend to be a sucker for electronics. I actually went shopping for a new laptop, but those were snatched up in the Black Friday stampede. The TV I got wasn't actually in that sale, but it was marked down. Now I can watch movies in a more fantastic and beautiful way!

I have to say, I love this thing already. I watched my Star Wars movies and enjoyed the vivid detail of every scene. It was almost like being in a movie theater, except no sticky floors and no one tall in front of me.

I think the next thing I get will be a wall mount for the TV so it's not sitting on top of my DVD player. Since I am a person who only watches movies or listens to music when I'm at home, I might as well have it all set up the way I like it, don't you think?

I really believe this TV will help me in my movie reviews, too, since it plays with such clarity.
