ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS

Another funny Ice Age movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009; PG) still has your favorite characters and the personalities who made them come alive by lending their voices. In this episode, Sid the Sloth, in his desire to follow Manny the Mammoth as his family grows, finds three eggs deep below the ice in a cavern.

Of course, the mama dinosaur is a T-Rex from and under-ice world of rainforests and warmth. Everyone in the "herd" gets involved in the hunt for Sid when he is captured by the dinosaur who is fetching back her babies, now hatched. Looking for him in that jungle should have required a  gps, but instead they had Buck, an odd character with a patch on one eye who has lived in the warm jungle for a long time, and gone a little mad while there.

There is a little rude humor, as always, but mostly it's clean and fun to watch.
