VANTAGE POINT

This movie has tons of action along with a sufficient amount of violence. Vantage Point (2008; PG-13) is like watching several short movies in a row. The story is that of the shooting of the President while he's attending a summit meeting in Spain. Of course, it's not based in fact, but it does give us a look at how things might transpire, seen through the eyes of a number of key players.

Every "vantage point" character is seen running or fighting during the movie. If these scenes were shot more than once, it was probably a good way for some of the actors to lose weight fast!

There are some fine actors in this film, and they seemed to me to be perfectly suited for their individual parts.
