VALKYRIE

This is definitely a movie worth watching. It's the true story of a group of men who plot to assassinate Hitler during World War II. Valkyrie (2008; PG-13) stars Tom Cruise as a man who has planned and recruited others to help him fulfill his plans to destroy the Nazi leader.

Several times, the plans are thwarted either through the ineptitude of others or through their deceit. The powerful leader had many people close to him who helped him avoid the danger of assassins, and who pretended to be on the side of those who were resistors.

At one point, a bomb was detonated in the same room as Hitler. The blast was so strong that even Plano porcelain veneers were knocked out, but still the dictator was left only slightly injured. It was at that point that the identities of the team of assassins was discovered.
