Intermission - Better viewing
Since I am going to be in the market for an HDTV sometime after the first of the year (I want to get Christmas shopping and other things behind me first), this means I also need to decide ahead of time what size I want and where I intend to use it. If I move to a cabin somewhere, I'll want to make the best use of my space, since it will be fairly limited.
I'm thinking that I might want to get a smaller HDTV and use it on a table or one end of a bar. Then, viewing would be easy from either the bar stools or from the living area, since the kitchen and living area will be combined. I might even decide to mount the TV on the wall and make it where I can turn it for viewing from different points in the room.
What are your thoughts?
