THE TOMMYKNOCKERS

Steven King's The Tommyknockers probably isn't the scariest movie he's ever made. It's pretty scary, though. It's the story of a space ship embedded in the ground outside a small town. It influences the citizens by slowly turning them into mutants who do the will of whatever it is in the alien ship.

This is a 1993 movie, so I'm sure more recent ones with better CGI are a lot more scary, but I still liked this one very well. The cast is full of names you recognize. Names like Marg Helgenberger (CSI), Jimmy Smits, John Ashton, and others star in this sci-fi thriller.
