BUG
This is definitely a movie Brandon will want to see. In fact, I already told him a little about it so now he's really eager to see it! See, he likes all kinds of horror movies and this one will be right up his alley.
This isn't your ordinary bug movie. Bug, starring Ashley Judd and Harry Connick, JR, is the story of a waitress who lives in fear of her abusive ex-husband who has been recently paroled. She begins a romance with another man and hides out in a motel room, but this man is strange in his own way.
Then, the bugs begin to arrive.
They are looking for their queen...
If you aren't comfortable with creepy, crawly critters, then this bug movie isn't for you. These compelling posters tell you a lot without giving the whole story away, don't they? The posters are creepy and crawly, yet are very artistic at the same time. Ashley Judd is so beautiful, and that contrasts very well with the chilling buggy images around her. I like the limited use of color in these posters. It's reminiscent of the shadowy images found in the most frightening of horror movies.
These posters really set the atmosphere that's sure to surround actually viewing Bug.
If you're brave enough, you can view the movie trailer for this new film.
It's scheduled for release in the summer of 2007 and is a Lion's Gate film. It was directed by William Friedkin, who also directed other famous horror films and did a bang-up job on them. It's rated R for obvious reasons which I think you'll understand after you view more about it.
