INSIDE MAN
This 2006 Spike Lee film is worth watching, but I actually had to watch it twice to get the full impact and story line. Sorry, I must be slow on the uptake or something. However, with a cast as powerful as is found in Inside Man, this isn't a film you should skip over at the video store.
The plot revolves around a bank robbery, which is played out in so many movies. But that's where the resemblance to any other movie ends. The character development in this film is intimate and you really do have to watch it with both eyes to understand every nuance of the events.
There is a lot of foul language, so don't let the kiddies into the room while you view it. It stars Denzel Washington, Jodie Foster, Clive Owen, and Christopher Plummer, with Willem Dafoe actually playing a very minor role.
