THE ADVENTURES OF PINOCCHIO

This version of the classic, The Adventures of Pinocchio, by New Line Cinema (1996), is a live-action movie starring Martin Landau and Jonathan Taylor Thomas. This fairy tale is very cute and well-done overall, and it's one we've enjoyed watching time and again.

You already know the story - a wooden puppet seeking to become a real boy. Jim Henson's Creature Shop teams up with the movie makers to add the kind of animation and puppetry that only they can do and bring Pinocchio to life in a way that makes believers out of all of us.

While this version doesn't stick strictly to the original story, it is, nonetheless, entertaining even for the younger members of your family.
