EVOLUTION

A really funny sci-fi movie, Evolution is the story of a meteorite that plunged into the earth carrying with it the beginnings of life from another system. The rate at which these creatures evolve is stupendous and it's up to a wannabe firefighter, two college professors, and a geeky-but-sexy female government scientist to find a way to get rid of the aliens, which will surely take over not only the United States, but the world.

David Duchovny, Julianne Moore, Orlando Jones, and Seann William Scott play the starring roles, and they do it very well. There is some crude and sexual humor in the movie, so I wouldn't recommend it for children under the teen years, but otherwise the movie is just plain fun to watch.
