Oscar Nominations

You know, it's just not that many days until the Academy Awards are handed out. There are some great movies and actors nominated. You can see them listed at OSCAR.com. Sadly, I've yet to even see these movies and I hope to view at least some of them before the actual awards are handed out. I like trying to guess which ones are winners, don't you?

Since I watch so many movies, I figure I'm as good at performance reviews as the next guy, even if the next guy is supposed to be an expert or a highly paid film critic. I like what I like. Sometimes, the actors or movies really surprise me. Either they are much better than I thought they'd be, or a whole lot worse! You really can't believe the Hollywood hype about them. It takes viewing them to know for sure if a movie is good or not.
