Intermission - Celebrity weddings

It seems that hardly a day goes by when we don't read some engagement announcements from Hollywood. While the article writers try to make us believe the information is exclusive and they got it from some kind of leak, I think we all know that the news is intentionally leaked so the celebrities involved can gain more press exposure. What's sad, though, is how rapidly we also learn of marital difficulties, and how quickly so many of those marriages are dissolved.

I suppose it's just the nature of the business. Maybe. But maybe they are seeking a higher feeling of fulfillment that celebrity and money can't satisfy. The fulfillment of a loving relationship and lifetime partnership. When the pressures of their job become too great, or the temptations they face become monstrous, so many of them cave in and the relationship is lost.

It's a shame, really, that they don't have the support around them to fight through and save what could be a glorious marriage.
