MR. BEAN'S HOLIDAY
I rented and watched Mr. Bean's Holiday last night and I must say it's very funny. It's G rated, which is unusual in this day and time, so it's safe and humorous for the whole family to watch.
The story is of Mr. Bean winning a holiday (vacation) that will take him on a train trip to Cannes, then on to the French Riviera. Of course, he encounters all kinds of problems, many of his own making since he tends to mess things up a bit through his own bumbling ways. Along the way, he takes on a lad who has been separated from his father, because of Bean's errors, and he decides to help the lad make his way back home again.
Mr. Bean never actually speaks, or at least, not in full sentences. That's part of the humor of the character. He is able to make us understand fully what he thinks, though, through facial expressions and physical comedy.
