Sahara
This high-adventure movie stars Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz, and Steve Zahn. McConaughey and Zahn play two life-long friends who are working for a treasure recovery company. As a sideline, McConaughey's character is also a Civil War buff who's been searching for a long-lost ironclad battleship said to have limited edition gold pieces in it.
The ironclad vessel left the US shores under fire, supposedly, and made it to Africa where it sailed up a now non-existent river and became land locked.
The movie is the story of these two friends who meet a W.H.O doctor (played by Cruz), their battles with evil warlords and their fight against a large corporation that is polluting the underground water sources. It tells of them accidentally happening on the ironclad in the process.
Lots of stunts, fighting, chases, and mystery fill every moment of the film. One or two curse words, but not "the" word, and no s*xual content other than the possible love interest between McConaughey and Cruz's characters.
Rated PG-13. 2005 movie. I liked it very much because I really like a movie that keeps moving and has few lulls.
