Chicken Run
Ok, this is one I watch over and over because it's just so funny. It's animated, yes, but it's more like a high-tech claymation. The characters are likeable and varied, except for the evil Mrs. Tweedy and her dolt of a husband.
This 2002 film by DreamWorks is the story of chickens on a chicken farm and their many attempts to escape to greener pastures. The chicken yard looks like a stalaag camp and the chickens' clever attempts at escape remind me of the old TV show "Hogan's Heroes". Other scenes will remind you of some Indiana Jones movies.
The humor is clean. No bad stuff so kids can watch it alright. It's rated G for good reasons. Great family viewing.

Yes, I like "Chicken Run" also. Cass's middle son would want to watch it everytime he came over. As soon as it would finish, he would ask to watch it again and of course we did.
